Between Skills and Attitudes
Recently talked with a businessman who decided to untie your technical because in recent months his attitude had changed markedly and was creating unrest, conflicts, and challenges to his supervisor and had clearly diminished the quality-quantity of their work and dedication to mandated activities.
Repeatedly sought to recover, that reflect on this because it was unfavorable change in development plans submitted by his supervisor, who wanted to capitalize on their conditions and gradually prepare for greater responsibilities. There was no case. "Something happened" (probably in your personal area) that made him "jump the thermal" and placed it clearly resolve conflict between "sooner rather than later."
The chief asked me together to find the best way to inform untying the other staff, once it is called off. This is a family company with more than 30 employees dedicated to commercial activity. This type of action is advisable to inform them officially of all as a way to turn off "grapevine" and avoid unnecessary uneasiness at such individuals.
We some time advising the company in Human Resources management and this is what we suggested:
In my opinion it is best to raise the reality the real reason why .................. has been disconnected from the company.
We usually say in selection interviews which usually incorporate the SME entrepreneur to people for their skills but ends by dismissing their attitudes. Or what is the same, by incorporating what they know but get fired for what they are.
